After one week of wonderful spring weather winter is back here with low temperatures, heavy clouds and much wind.
So I am going to decorate our home tomorrow with colorful paper flowers I have been drawing, coloring and cutting during the past weeks from scratch, first the outlines, then filled with pattern and over layed with another hand drawn thick lines pattern.
After years of doing computer graphics I really love to sit with markers, paint and real papers recently.
Anyway scanning and combining the drawings and paintings gives great effects and my new Epson Expression Photo Printer makes just perfect prints and big size, too.
And I can keep my originals untouched.
Just be inspired and make your own. It is not that difficult.
Or go get the flowers as collage sheets from my Etsy shop
Before it is given away tomorrow I made a pic of my end of summer birthday card for a dear friend tomorrow. It reflects the early autumn sun, the beginning recoloring of the leaves, but still there are colorful flowers blooming everywhere in the garden.
The background layer is made from an own printed paper (mot yet released, but coming soon) the butterfly is from my butterflies collage sheet and various dies from sizzix, spellbinders and die-version, where I just got the official permission to use the dies in my products for sale, hurray….
Have a great week!
Last weekend we had fantastic weather, perfect temperature, no wind. So I grabbed all my crafting stuff including my sizzix big shot and occupied our terrace table shamelessly for the whole day. I had prepared some fall / autumn printables during the week and I started with this lovely gift box in warm colors.
As always you can get some inspirations for your own projects or you just buy the templates from my Etsy shop. Have fun!
