It smells like fish…fishy underwater notecards

They just fit into the vacation and beach time: colorful underwater themed aquarium fishes.

I made these printable collage sheets and found my test prints on A3 coming out too big for embellishments. And I messed up the print and cut marks for the Silhouette Cameo to cut them with the machine.

But the fishes looked so cool, so I decided to cut them by hand with a little border and making note cards from it. I am not the worlds best stamper, but tried some things and it worked. I fixed leather and silk bands and ended up with a couple of pretty usable gift tags.

Part 2 of my shadow box experiment

And this is the other one I made:
An elegant black golden winter fashion shadow box. It is more or less made like the previous one. I used a stencil to add the fantastic golden modeling paste, that makes a cool elegant and precious effect.

How to make a Santa Woman Boutique shadow box

Yesterday I had my crafty Saturday and at last I used the embellishments I cut from my santa and christmas collage sheets. I never before made a shadow box, but find them so beautiful.
The basic box I cut from black card stock from a file I bought through the Silhouette online store. But there are also templates you can find on the web to build those or you just use a part of a black box.

I added some stars and glitter to the inner background of the box. I added Glossy Accent and glitter to parts of the elements to make them glossy, shiny and christmassy. After drying I fixed the embellishments and some crafts supplies I found here in my workshop like the little glitter fur ball and a piece of wire with red stars. You can use everything gold, white or red. And it is better you make two of them. Mine is sticked to the fridge door with a magnet and I don’t want to give it away…lol…

christmas tags – snowy winter landscapes and a letter to Santa

its been a while, but I was just too busy creating some collage sheets and basic tags for your christmas crafts, gift wrapping, well and most of all just having fun.
I have of course used my favorite tool, the blending edge tool and distress ink by Ranger to color the edges, some glossy accents (on the lamplights and to make some black parts more dark black) and as hangers I just used classical red, black and green bakers twine.

Printable Bird Feathers Collage Sheet

This is just a printable collage sheet with feathers I created lately for my own needs when I was asked to create a special card for an autumn wedding in October. I chose pretty natural autumn colors, leaves and a handwritten scanned antique wedding document from a friends grandparents.
The bird feathers match and can be used with the fantastic new Sizzix die from Tim Holtz, the writing desk. I just LOVE it.

Birthday card making fun with butterfly collage sheet and my new die cuts

Last week I’ve been making some birthday and other greeting cards on request of a good friend. A good chance to try some of my new Sizzix and Spellbinders dies and embossing folders. While crafting I needed/ made a sheet of butterflies and just set it up for sale, it might be useful for others, too.
